Sharing Slay the Spire

I showed a friend my new favorite game. He took to it immediately: intuiting the connections between the cards. We completed a run together: first me steering with his commentary, then his steering with my infrequent advice.

Rapidly our plans to visit the local pool shrank.

Three hours later, the run nearly finished, we walked the five minutes to the pool. He flirted with some girls and made silly faces at the babies. Forty minutes later, we returned home to finish the run.

Immediately he wanted more.

We grabbed some food and he set to download the game.

It doesn’t work on his laptop computer. I gave him a day to figure it out.

And then?

We game.
